Enter the “Tera Ghar Vs Mera Ghar” contest on the official Somany Ceramics Facebook Page. Show the world your best designed corner of your house by sharing a photo and small write-up on the concept or reason behind designing up that corner. Contest begins November 2, 2013 and ends November 25, 2013 at 11:59 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that they are 18 years old or older. The contest is valid for people from India only. Somany Ceramics reserves the right to remove fan photos from the Facebook page and contest consideration.
Who may enter:
This contest is open to anyone 18 years old or older. The winner must Like Somany Ceramics on Facebook to enter the contest. Employees and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses) of Somany Ceramics, and other participating sponsors and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates dealers, distributors, manufacturers, and each of their advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “Contest Entities”) are not eligible to enter or win. This Contest is governed by Indian law and is subject to all state and local laws. Void where prohibited by law.
What to enter:
The best designed corner/room of your house with a short write-up/story behind designing that area. We do not accept digitally or otherwise enhanced or altered photos. Minor adjustments, including spotting, dodging and burning, sharpening, contrast and slight color adjustment or the digital equivalents, are acceptable. If our judges determine that a person has altered photos, they reserve the right to move the photo to disqualify it. Photos that violate or infringe upon another person’s rights, including but not limited to copyright, are not eligible.
How to enter:
Click the picture of the best designed corner/section of your house and submit photographs along with a short write-up on the reason/story behind that designed corner/section on-line via the Tera Ghar vs Mera Ghar contest application available on the Somany Ceramics Facebook Page. Entries posted on the Facebook Wall will not be accepted. We do not accept photographs submitted through the mail. Submit not more than 3 photographs. We do not accept more than one contestant per e-mail address. High-quality scans of non-digital photographs are acceptable. Digital photographs should be taken at the highest resolution possible. Use the on-line entry form on our Facebook Page. Photographs must be in a .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format. All the entries will be open for voting through our contest application on Facebook.
Somany Ceramics reserves the right to disqualify contestants. By entering the contest, entrants grant Somany Ceramics a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, for any educational, promotional, publicity, exhibition, archival, scholarly and all other standard purposes.
Entry deadline: Users must submit their entries from November 2, 2013 – November 25, 2013 11:59 PM (“Submission Period”)
Judging:
Judging will be conducted by the Somany Ceramics Jury Panel. All the entries will be published to Facebook for voting. The top 3 entries on the basis of votes will be adjudged by our Jury Panel & the winner will be declared in an event hosted in Lucknow post the contest period. The shortlisted entries authentication will be checked by visiting their home and validating their proof of residence.
Voting:
Facebook users will be encouraged to vote during the contest from November 2, 2013 to November 25, 2013 11:59 PM. Users may only vote once. During the contest, the public can vote through our contest application on Facebook page for their favourite entries. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Somany Ceramics reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. Decisions of Somany Ceramics will be final.
Winning Entries:
One winner & two runner-ups will be selected based on the votes received & jury’s decision. The winners will be declared at the end of the contest period. Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash except at Somany Ceramics sole discretion. Somany Ceramics reserves the right to substitute a prize, or portions thereof, with a prize of equal or greater value. All prizes will be awarded.
