Please read these rules ("Official Rules") before entering the ‘Amazon Appiness Contest’ (the "Contest"). You agree that, by submitting an entry, you will be bound by these Official Rules and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Contest eligibility requirements.
ELIGIBILITY:
If you are an individual legal resident of the Republic of India and are 18 years or above at the time of entry, you are eligible to enter the Contest. Our employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors or advertising/promotion agencies (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter the Contest.
HOW TO ENTER:
You may enter the Contest beginning at 00:00:00 p.m. (IST) on 7th November 2014 and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. (IST) on 10th November 2014 (the "Contest Period"). To enter and win, you must:
(1) Download the Amazon.in App on your mobile phone or tablet and sign in to the App during the Contest Period to be automatically enrolled into a random draw of lots.
(2) Amongst eligible participants, 111 (One Hundred and Eleven) participants will be selected by the random draw of lots to be eligible to each win an Amazon.in e-Gift Card issued by QwikCilver Solutions Private Limited (to be used in accordance with the Amazon.in Gift Card terms and conditions) worth INR 11, 000 each ("Consolation Prize(s)") and 11 (eleven) participants will be selected by the random draw of lots to be eligible to each win a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 ("Grand Prize(s)") at the end of the Contest Period.
The Consolation Prize and the Grand Prize are hereinafter individually referred to as the "Prize" and collectively referred as "Prizes".
(3) The participants selected for the Prizes will be required to answer a qualifying question correctly within a time period which would be communicated to the selected participants by Amazon, in order to be declared winners of the Consolation Prize or the Grand Prize, as the case may be.
(4) If the selected participant does not respond back within the given time period, or answers incorrectly, he/she shall not be eligible to be declared winner. Selected participants will also be required to prove their age, failing which they will be disqualified from the Contest.

By entering the Contest, you consent to being placed on a mailing list for promotional and other materials for Amazon.in/Amazon Seller Services Private Limited ("ASSPL"). You may update or change your email preferences at the email preferences page.
OTHER PROMOTIONS:
Please note that we may be running similar contests at the same time as this Contest. By entering this Contest, you will not be eligible to receive any prize awarded in any other contest unless you enter each contest separately.
PRIZES:
There are a total of 122 Prizes that will be given as part of the Contest i.e. 111 Consolation Prizes and 11 Grand Prizes. Any graphics of the Prizes as depicted in any communication regarding the Contest are for representation purposes only. The actual Prizes may differ in colour and appearance.
PRIZE DRAWING
All participants that are selected by random draw of lots and answer the Contest question correctly will be eligible to win the Prizes offered under this Contest. The drawing will be aggregated on 14th November, 2014 and our decision on the winning entries shall be final and binding. We will notify each selected participant by e-mail following the drawing and he/she will be required to share a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Indian passport. A PAN card copy is mandatory for prizes worth more than Rs.10,000. The selected participants will automatically forfeit their claim to the Prize if they do not answer the question within 72 hours of notification, answer incorrectly or do not meet the eligibility criteria. Each Prize will be awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond our control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value in our sole discretion.
